Experience Summary
I am a naturally curious person who has always loved words, and spends a good deal of time reading and writing. Throughout my educational career, I have gained experience in reading, analyzing, and writing about various literary works; I enjoy debating the meaning of any written work, and writing about nearly any subject. I love to introduce new friends to my favorite authors and writing styles, and appreciate the chance to learn from other people in regards to the things that interest them!
Teaching Style
Teaching children of any age is something that I truly enjoy, particularly learning about each child and their interests and manner of learning. I encourage the children I work with to think for themselves, to search for new ideas and meanings, and to always consider others' perspectives in making decisions. I believe that everyone learns by different means, and in tutoring others, I try to find the most motivating way of learning possible. I would describe myself as a calm, good-natured person with a wide variety of interests and a passion for working with children of any age.
