Experience Summary
I was president of our NHS chapter in high school and through our NHS chapter, I was an active tutor. Through my 4 years of college and student teaching, I have worked with a variety of students from all backgrounds and ability levels.
I am a licensed educator, and am currently a substitute teacher in Northwest Illinois.
Teaching Style
I am an energetic and highly dedicated person. I am an advocate for constructivism, so I plan on creating an environment where my role is facilitating, challenging, and nurturing your student's learning. Students learn best when they seek information and are engaged, so I plan on accomplishing both by providing interesting lessons in a variety of ways. My personality is very flexible and open to trying new things. I hope to collaborate with the student and their parents and teachers, experiment with new ideas, and strive constantly to improve the student's learning.
