Experience Summary
Throughout my academic career as an undergraduate I strove for excellence in all that I did. I graduated Cum Laude and was one of five Women's Studies students in my class to be given an award of Academic Excellence. I earned two bachelors in English and Women's Studies and consider myself very well versed in both areas. Throughout my undergraduate career I was also heavily involved in extracurricular activities related to my majors. I was also involved with a volunteer program called Alternative Breaks in which I was given the opportunity to help educate peers as well as children.
Teaching Style
I find myself to be a patient and encouraging teacher. I find myself comfortable teaching people of any age, be it children, peers, or those who are older than myself. I am aware of the fact that each person has a different learning style and am quite well at adapting my own learning and teaching style to better help the student whom I am teaching. Helping people to better understand the discipline of English and Literature is one of my greatest pleasures.
