Experience Summary
When I came to this country, one of my goals was to succeed and the first thing that I needed to do was to learn the English language the correct way. I enrolled in ESOL classes and was determined to master the language. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and then a Masters degree from Phoenix University. Although my degrees are in Business Administration; I have a strong background in essays and composition skills. While in school, I wrote many research papers, analysis, and essays in various subjects of study.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching subjects in which I feel comfortable with. I am self confident and positive in the things that I do, and when I tutor I make sure this confidence is transferred to the other person. I am patient and place a lot of emphasis in motivating. I feel that all kids have great potential in different subject areas; unfortunately, many times that potential is not fully developed or developed at all, due to the lack of self confidence or a friendly sincere voice that tells them they can do it.
