Experience Summary
As an UC Berkeley graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned my B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. During the years I was pursuing my degree, I also worked as a private tutor for all level of children, mostly from grade 9 to 12, with their math, physics, chemistry and biology, and help them achieve their educational goals.
Teaching Style
I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways; all children could achieve their goals, with the appropriate surroundings and help. Therefore, for each student I work with, the first thing I always do is to find out the goal and need, then make a specialized study plan. As the tutoring goes along, I would also work with the teacher and keep tract of the student's progress, to make necessary adjustment of the plan in time to ensure it benefit the student the most. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible.
