Experience Summary
I have worked with students in grades 9 - 12, taught material from approved curriculum, and developed daily lesson plans. Most importantly I participated in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and school concerning academics, behavior and attendance. I can motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. I’ve mastered displaying problem solving, cooperative negotiating skills and conflict resolution strategies. I know how to use classroom instructional time appropriately and wisely. I have also completed 50 Practicum hours to include observation of the classroom as well as taught lessons to include 240 student teacher hours.
Teaching Style
Working with children requires different methods or styles of teaching. Once working with a child, you'll be able to see what there needs are. You can try different methods and see which one they respond to most accurately.
