Experience Summary
As a Physics major I have a deep understanding of both mathematics and multiple fields of science. During my time as both a high school and college student I have tutored privately in subjects such as: Physics I and II; College Algebra, Calculus I, II and III; Differential Equations and many more upper-level physics and math courses. I have recently passed the Advanced Mathematics (11) Oklahoma Subject Area Test (OSAT) with a score of 295, with a maximum possible score of 300.
Teaching Style
Although I am advanced as far as the subject areas I would be tutoring in are concerned, I am still able to present the content to the student in the unique way that they are able to understand it. This is important, since no two students think alike and, in my experience, a majority of students do have trouble with math and math-intensive sciences such as physics. But even though I am more comfortable with the one-on-one experience that tutoring usually involves, I do have classroom experience from substituting and various group-tutoring sessions.
