Experience Summary
• Teaching experience, 20+ years, with Denver Public School and Berkeley Unified School districts.
• Summer College Workshop – sponsored by the University of Denver – working with parents of the students attending the workshop, to provide them with the necessary information to make decisions regarding their youth’s future and their educational journey.
• Classroom teaching with Denver Public Schools 4th-6th grades.
• Teaching and Counseling students at the high school level ~ Berkeley Unified School District
• One-on-one tutoring of students below grade level in reading: No Child Left Behind programs at the After School Academic Programs throughout the city.
Teaching Style
I am dedicated to inspire students to learn and to achieve to their goals. I believe all children can learn and each one has a different and unique learning style. It is the responsibility of the teacher to learn how to teach to these unique learning styles.
I want to support teachers to build relationships with students and parents in setting high expectations as they support and facilitate studetns reaching their goals.
At the end of the day, I want to make a difference in the life of a student.
