Teaching Style
I believe that a teacher should teach because he or she possesses a quest for learning, a passion for a particular subject, and is driven by a true calling and desire to inspire young and diverse minds. I believe that the learning environment is crucial for students’ understanding and intellectual growth, and I believe that teachers must contribute to the development of students’ curiosity and creativity. Teachers must always be open to new and improved forms of instruction, and he or she must explore various ways to inspire students. A teacher must also incorporate culturally responsive teaching into his or her instruction so that all students are capable of receiving similar instruction that respects their differences.
