Experience Summary
I have been a Speech and Language Pathologists providing Special Education services in the public school in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida. I have worked with children ages birth to highschool as well as adults with brain injuries that have affected their speech and language capabilities. I have most recently worked with children and adults tutoring them in language and reading in South Florida. I have also trained teachers who work with preschool and kindergarten children and have spent many years developing, reviewing and revising curriculums to meet the needs of the targeted learners.
Teaching Style
Everyone has different learning styles and respond to stimili differently. I prefer to adjust my teaching style to meet the needs of the learner. I have developed a variety of materials to work with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners and I am comfortable combining a variety of methods and materials to ensure a successful learning experience.
