Experience Summary
Education has always been an important part of my life. Along my journey to becoming an Elementary Instructor, I have obtained a Bachelor's Degree, Elementary Education Teaching Certification, and a Masters Degree in Reading. This is my third year working with the SES Program and I also have been published. I have worked with students of all ages and with a variety of learning styles and specific needs. Although my Masters is in Reading, I have tutored in all subject areas. Working with children is my passion and what I feel I was meant to do.
Teaching Style
I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach all academic subject areas to students of all ages, pre-school through college. I use a multi-sensory approach and the latest methodology. I have been very successful with struggling readers in grades 1 through high school, and truly enjoy seeing the “light bulb come on”. I know that all children can learn. I address the different learning styles through a multi-sensory approach. I thoroughly enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students.
