Experience Summary
I have an immense amount of coaching, tutoring, and teaching experience. All of my experience has been outside the classroom with kids that I did not previously know. I am one of the premier baseball pitching coaching instructors in Jacksonville, teaching over 2,000 kids. In 2003, I published my book, Seven Steps of Pitching. In high school, I tutored children with their various subjects and continued in college. In school, I received straight A’s. In college, I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering with a 3.2 GPA; one class shy of a math minor. Since 1992, I have taught pitching and tutored students. My students have always loved their experience and loved learning under my teachings. I always have a waiting list for my teaching.
Teaching Style
I love to teach. I believe that teaching, is not about what I did in life but how to communicate the concept so that student understands it and can make changes to succeed. My style is fun-loving, energetic, high-energy, and exciting. But more importantly, I pride myself on becoming the type of teacher that the student needs me to be. I believe in accountability, great work ethic, and hard work. Teaching to me is problem solving. Not solving the student’s problem, but solving the student or the block that has them not understanding the concept. I break things down to the lowest level and then build them back up until we understand the subject. I also teach easy ways for the student to utilize quick steps to ensure great test scores.
