Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate from Johns Hopkins University where I majored in mathematics with a concentration in chemistry. Over the past eight years I have tutored and taught continuously in many areas of math, chemistry, physics, and SAT. I have helped students succeed on both the high school and college levels, and have given students exposure to the field of medicine by working as a teacher at the National Student Leadership Conference on Medicine.
Teaching Style
Through my years of tutoring I have learned there is no single teaching method that works for every student, but every student can be successful if you personalize your teaching method for them. Whether they need visualizations, analogies, straightforwardness, etc, I find what works for my tutees and build on it. My students’ successes make me proud and I strive to give my best to them.
