Experience Summary
As a college graduate, I was ready ti conquer the world with my BA in Communications, but once I begin to think about what I truly wanted to do with my life, I begin to also look into childcare. I begin at USAA Child Development Center for almost two years. I felt so comfortable with the kids and I relished in the fact of being able to mold their minds to learn their abc's and 123'. I knew right then, this is going to be my career. I went on to Hillsborough County Headstart program, where I taught 3-5 year old for almost two yearss as well. It was definitely a challenge, but it was a learning experiencr. After that I moved on to becoming a kindergarten teacher for walton academy for the performing arts and I stayed there for five years.
Teaching Style
I am most comfortable teaching with prek-5th grade students, because that is my area of expertise. I love teaching these age groups because they are so impressionable and some of them still have that child like innocence that hasn't been stripped from them yet. My goal is to make all of my students feel safe and secure, but at the same time they should be getting an education not having to worry about their home life or what their wearing or who is looking at them. My goal is to get them to focus on the schoolwork ad realize their full potential which is outside of this classroom
