Experience Summary
As a former member of the United States Air Force, I have always believed in making a difference in the lives of children and young adults. I have earned degrees in Aerospace Maintenance (AS), History(BA) and Management (BA). I spent the last two years as a high school AP Macro-economics teacher. Currently, I am enrolled at the University of Central Florida, where I have completed 30 hours of my MA in History. I am an accomplished researcher, writer, and lecturer who has prepared and delivered high school and college level lessons to classes in excess of 300 students and has had the pleasure of seeing my work published. I want to work with students directly to help them achieve goals
Teaching Style
I have thoroughly enjoyed instructing young adults, both in the military and in the high school and college settings. Ideally, hands-on learning strategies will be applied to each student, specifically tailored to their needs and goals. In my experience, the linking of instruction to relevent aspects of the students existing knowledge and personal situation is a highly effective technique. Delivering personal education to students and making a difference in their lives has been my goal for many years, and I wish to continue to help those in need.
