Experience Summary
As an Elementary school teacher, I tremendously enjoy what I do. I have worked with children in the public school sector as well as in my church ministry for over 20 years. I have a Been teaching for 11 years in the Brevard Public school system. I am certified to teach grades 1 - 6. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I am an OM coach at my current school and serve as Grade level chair. I have tutored students in the elementary school level, both as a private tutor and in the public school sector.
Teaching Style
Students learn in many different ways so my teaching approach is not a cookie cutter style but more flexible to suit the different styled learner. I love hands on and being more visual. I work with students in small groups in my own classroom and give others more individual freedom according to their needs. My classroom is one of a cooperative learning setting.
