Experience Summary
During my years in High School, I participated in various programs that involved tutoring students in reading and language arts. I have also tutored friends and family throughout the years in reading, math, and history. As a current student at the University of South Florida I help fellow classmates with homework as often as I can. I currently hold my AA from Manatee Community College and will graduate from USF with my BA in December of 2010.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children of all ages, especially at the elementary and middle school level. I know that my job is not done until the student I am tutoring fully understands the subject matter. I believe students learn best through exploring the material at their own pace and applying life experiences to the material at hand. When I am teaching students I am both patient and considerate, as I know that the material can be difficult to learn.
