Experience Summary
I entered college with a GPA of 4.88. I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology while also earning a minor in both chemistry and psychology. I was only three classes short of majoring in chemistry. I tutored my classmates and formed study groups while working 80 hours a week as a microbiology lab assistant and a team coordinator for a company that helped those with mental retardation and developmental disabilitites. I have a passion for helping others. I am entering my fourth year of teaching and I continue to strive to improve myself and my skills. I spent two weeks in both Brazil and Australia studying medicine.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children. I believe that every child can learn as long as you find a teaching style that fits them the best. I am patient, easy going, and compassionate while also being passionate about learning. I go out of my way to provide the best educational experience possible so that my students can feel successful. I feel that all lessons need to stimulate the child visually, auditorially and kinesthetically. I strive to make all of my students feel that they are capable of learning and that they really can do anything that they put their mind to.
