Experience Summary
As a graduate of Indiana University, I was driven to academic success as a Dean's List student in attaining a degree in Business Management. During my time at Indiana I tutored students in English, Social Studies, Math, and History. The students ranged from elementary to college level and my retention for these students from year to year was nearly 100%. Now that I am here in Florida I want to continue to tutor, mentor, and foster educational improvement.
Teaching Style
I love helping students succeed. I believe all students are capable of academic success. However, I have come to learn that learning styles differ greatly and to be an effective tutor it is imperative to analyze the student and find the most effective tutoring style that suits his or her learning style. My goal is to improve results through patience, hard-work, and confidence building. I believe a good educator can make a world of difference in any child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
