Experience Summary
As a student at Alabama State University I excelled in my studies. My years attending I did not graduate but I was placed on the Dean's List for 3 years. In addition, I was vice president of BioMedical Club an elite and very highly talked club in the Biology department. I have learned and studied a variety of sciences. I have excelled in wet/dry laboratories and have written research papers and laboratory reports. My last year, I began tutoring Biology and Chemistry to freshmen.
Teaching Style
My future plans are to become a Health Care or a Biology teacher in the summer of 2010. I believe in passing the information that I have obtained to a younger audience and helping students think of goals and help them reach them. If I begin tutoring my teaching method is a more visual and hands on learning. The reason for that science is a very different and difficult subject to learn from English and History. Science subjects have three main methods of teaching which are reaching, visual and hand on. In comparison, there are a variety of sciences such as: Biology, Anatomy and Botany. These three subjects that are all related to science, but each subject are different.
