Experience Summary
I have always been interested in helping others, sharing knowledge, and teaching. In the fall of 2000, I began my early childhood education undergraduate studies in Puerto Rico. In 2005 I changed my major to elementary education, consecutively obtaining a BA degree (in January of 2007) and finally graduating with Summa Cum Laude (in June of 2007).I am currently certified by the state of Florida in elementary teaching (K-6), CPR (for infants, children and adults), and basic first aid. My long term goals consist in keep growing professionally by obtaining a master’s degree in a nearby future.
Teaching Style
I believe that all teacher's should have high expectations of each one of their students. I enjoy doing this, because this is their daily encouragement. I enjoy teaching students through hands on activities because it engages them more into the topic that I am teaching. They are my motivation to keep educating myself in order to give them what they deserve.
