Experience Summary
I have been a certified elementary school teacher for 5 years. I spent 2 years in a private school teaching Kindergarten and 3 years in a public school teaching 1st grade. During my years of teaching, my main focus was on teaching students the basics of Reading and Writing. During my time at the private school, I also taught Music and Art to elementary students. I have experience using multiple teaching series including ABEKA.
Teaching Style
My teaching style varies depending on the group of students I am working with. Although I will bring the same overall feel to any classroom, I try to teach to each child in a way that they can learn and grow in confidence. I believe that children learn best when they are comfortable and having fun.
