Experience Summary
As a masters and research degree holder, it has given me a chance to learn the subject to depth. My masters degree is with Major in Bio-Chemistry.
My research topic, related to Chemical Kinetics.
I had taught in India for about 8+ years- for different levels of education- Sr.high school, under grad, college and
post graduate level.
At present I am teaching at a Community college located in Tampa, for almost 4 semesters.I tutored one on one here in Tampa for about 4 years.
It has been a very successful journey so far as far as teaching is concerned. Its my passion to impart the subject knowledge I know to students who are aspiring to learn it or get better at it.
Teaching Style
I teach using board and marker, book and pen, power point, etc.
Use daily life examples. Questionere in the areas of identification, application, logical thinking etc.
I beleive if we understand where the student is coming from as far as the subject knowledge is concerned, its easy to guide them thru.
Its the teachers resposibility, in my opinion to go to the level of the student, to understand their difficulty in subject.
I have been counted as one of the assets to the institution where ever I taught. I Know, that I can make a difference in the students prespective about the subject, if they feel its hard to learn Chemistry.
