Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and had a very successful experience at college and grew through knowledge and great classes. I have a bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Studies, which certifies me to teach almost any course because I have studied all areas and how all people are able to learn and communicate.
Also, I have over 7 years of tutoring experience with kids from age 10 to 17 and in all different areas. I have enjoyed all of my time teaching and helping children. It has been very rewarding and I look forward to continuing tutoring!
Teaching Style
Over the years of my tutoring children, I have developed a certain way of approaching all my students. I believe that every child is unique and learns in a certain way. So when I first meet my student, I evaluate their favorite way of learning and the goals they and their parents want to achieve. Then I develop a easy to follow learning agenda that we will follow. Then I use multiple ways of teaching from using reading, writing, multiple examples, repetition, visuals, drawing, and flashcards. Throughout my students learning experience, I always make sure they are having fun while they are learning, so it's an education and fun experience for all my students.
