Teaching Style
Matthew W. Gilbert Middle School - Duval County, Florida
This was a certified teaching position of Science in Duval County Public Schools System. My primary role was instruction of Comprehensive Science I to the entire sixth grade, over 175 students! Each day, I provided quality instruction, leadership, and motivation to “challenged” students generally of the ages 11-13. Working in a Title I, “Challenged School”, such as Gilbert, provides a high level of experience working in a fast paced, constantly changing, data-driven environment. This has enhanced my ability to gather, analyze, report, and manage data.
