Experience Summary
I have a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology field as an Assistant. I graduated 11 years ago from University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus. During my bachelor's degree I took some curses of American Sign Language. From 8/1998 to 2/2002 I worked in Clinica de Terapias Pediatricas working in one on one basis with students to get them improve in the areas of speech, language and comprehension. While I was working with them I used to help the students in all school matters like math, language arts and sciences. After that time I took some time and started giving tutorials at home to students of elementary school having them improving every single area seeing results from D to B.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children. I believe for my experience that all kids can learn but in their own ways and time. This means that there are approximately three kinds of learning: visually (visual things help this kind of children to learn better like drawings or putting color to difference things), auditory (this ones like to learn having backgrounds of sounds. It could be either with music, songs, etc). I'm a very peaceful but right person who loves to see kids grow in every way. I am patient, easy ongoing and considerate. I believe that a few good educators can make a difference not only in your child's life but in the whole world.
