Experience Summary
I graduated from the University of Illinois. During my time there I had the opportunity to work with students as a mentor and teacher. I was very involved in tutoring programs (English, math) and I worked in the k-12 public school environment as a substitute teacher. I received two degrees in education, both a master's and doctorate. I currently teach undergraduate and graduate students that are interested in becoming school teachers. I read and review many papers and thus I would be experienced in tutoring English, and language arts. Additionally, I have become involved in math, so I would be comfortable tutoring in this area as well.
Teaching Style
I am knowledgeable, compassionate, and motivating.I believe that all children can learn if provided with the proper support. As an educator and parent I am committed to providing learning opportunities for all children by assisting them on their educational journey by connecting their prior knowledge with new knowledge-bridging gaps.
