Experience Summary
Holding a BA in English Education, I graduated valedictorian from my college. During my formal years of education, I worked as a tutor for the Manchester, N.H. School District. After
graduation, I obtained seventh-grade teaching position. After three years, I obtained an English teaching position in an academy, where I taught the following courses for seven years: British Literature, Expository Writing, Persuasive Writing, and American Literature. Teaching adult education as well, I taught Greek Mythology, Creative Writing, and Short Story. Recently, I tutored SAT strategies to college-bound students. I love teaching, reading, history, and I am a published poet and playwright.
Teaching Style
Teachers,as well as students, need to take responsibility for their actions. I have always given 100 percent to my students, and I expect students to give their all in return. I understand all too well, however, that many students suffer from disabilities which interfere with their educations. I have
taken that understanding under consideration when instructing. I love more than anything a student who thanks me for my
influence or teaching ability; I love more than anything opening a world of learning in a student.
