Experience Summary
I am a life long learner driven with determination. I attended the University of South Florida where I initially majored in Journalism however;after realizing that I'm a visual learner. I decided to change my major to Visual Communications. I have always been able to recognized the most successful way adults including myself whether in an academic or corporate setting. I have acquired extensive research, communication and writing skills while attending college for my three advanced degrees. I have tutored, mentored, and trained many adults both professionally and through volunteering.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and I have worked with adults and children of all ages. I have taught different genres to adults and children. I recently taught a dance class to both adults and children. My teaching style relates a student's life experiences to the their tasks. A student's building blocks that bridge the gap to learning is the constructivist approach. This process has a greater retention rate.My philisophy is that everyone is a learner and has the potential for success. Learners discover the a hah when they take ownership for the learning process.
