Experience Summary
Hello. I bring experience in mentoring and volunteering with students in my local community. Having been a member of community groups, we were able to reach out to youth and mentor them on life and their personal and professional short-term and long-term goals. I earned an Associate's Degree at Palm Beach Community College in 2005, and I am a current college student at the University of South Florida, graduating Summer 2010. I have a wealth of knowledge to give back and would love to work with a student challenged in the areas of reading, spelling, or grammer.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children of all ages. I believe all children can become educated but each child is different in terms of how they obtain and absorb information. In many cases, this can be challenging. Some students, such as my self, back in middle school, need additional one on one assistance. I am excited to help your child find academic success! I am patient, respectful, and considerate of your child's learning abilities and will take as much time as needed to learn their pace. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. I look to bring success to you as a parent and to your child academically. The sky is the limit!
