Experience Summary
I graduated from Valencia Community College with an AA degree, the University of Central Florida, with a BS degree, Nova Southeastern University with a MS in Mathematics Education. I taught Intensive Math, Algebra I, Geometry, Informal Geometry, and AP Statistics.
Teaching Style
I have developed a strong belief that the first thing a teacher must do is to promote positive attitudes about learning. During the process of developing these positive attitudes and perceptions about learning, my students will feel accepted and they will experience comfort and order. They will appreciate the proper way to comport themselves and they will recognize tasks as valuable, and believe that they have the ability and resources to not only perform these tasks successfully, but to perform them at high level of understanding. This will lead them into an intellectual capacity of detailed expectations: how and why they are to perform these tasks. This will lead them to be successful in math, school and life.
