Experience Summary
I obtained my BS in Speech & Language Pathology at SUNY Fredonia. In my senior year, I student taught at Panama Central School, NY. Student teaching opened my eyes into the field that I was studying and which I am still studying. While student teaching, I was able to help children with a broad spectrum of issues whether it be articulation problems, language deficits, and something helping with their homework. I am now at Florida Atlantic University for my master's in Communication Studies and Disorders.
Teaching Style
While student teaching, I found out just how much I enjoy teaching. I believed I was able to help all the students I had in some way or another, whether it be educationally, socially, or emotionally. While student teaching, I would work with children in one-to-one lessons or in small groups. I believe all children can achieve their potential which just a little push and extra motivation.
