Experience Summary
I am a person profoundly shaped by my educational experiences and thus believe in the importance of education, particularly in a person’s formative years. Throughout college, I often tutored individuals of all ages in an array of subjects. Elementary, middle, and high school, as well as college too. Upon graduating from UF I taught middle school mathematics for several years. It was certainly a fulfilling experience, and though I don’t teach full time any more, I have kept education and the habit of teaching with me. I have tutored individuals off and on throughout the years and recently was teaching classes of undergrad students on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). I like working with students and helping them to understand what they must.
Teaching Style
I thoroughly enjoy the transmission of knowledge. What's more is that I find it challenging and fulfilling to figure out what hindrances and expedients exist for individuals in their pursuit to succeed in their studies. As the student is attempts to learn their required material, I attempt to understand the student, which cyclically benefits the student in their studies. I avoid treating all as the same and instead I try to creatively develop the most efficacious routes for each.
