Experience Summary
Holding a bachelor degree in psychology with a minor in special education and a masters degree in curriculum and instruction with post gradute hours +15 and ten years teaching and tutoring has enabled me to gain an understanding in all areas of elementary education with specialities in reading. My experience with IEP, DIBELS and phonics training, Title I teaching, Urban teaching, direction and art camp for ten years have giving me extensive experience in dealing with the needs of children and parents and teaching children to read no matter what the obsticles.
Teaching Style
I believe teaching is a very important profession and that our communities cannnot be strong with out a good education system. I believe that all children learn but each child has a different learning style and obsticles that may need to be overcome and special needs that need to be addressed. I am experienced with identifying needs, writing goals and curriculums and using many different types of teaching styles to reach the needs of each individual student. I strive to help any child, school district, and coumminity with the education of students to make a difference in the lives of children.
