Experience Summary
Throughout my education and professional experience I have been very passionate about teaching. I have earned Bachelors in Education and Masters in Textiles and Clothing. I also have Teaching license in the state of Massachusetts in Mathematics.
During my student teaching and teaching in Fashion Design school, I have gained experience in various teaching methods and styles. I have also been helping students in the areas of Maths, English and Science.
Teaching Style
Teaching is what I am truly passionate about. I believe each student has his/her own learning style and it is the teacher's responsibility to facilitate learning in the most effective way.
According to me it is also important for the student to feel confident about the subject to be able to tackle future problems. I also feel that self study is very important for a student's development. With a set of appropriate guidelines from the teacher the student should explore and gain understanding of the concepts.
It is of utmost importance for the student to be an active participant and not just a passive receiver in the process of learning. And that is exactly what I strive to achieve.
