Experience Summary
Most of my teaching experience has been the home-schooling/tutoring of my own children for several years. I
have also tutored students in the "Linkage to Learning" summer tutoring program with the Maryland public school system. My
A.A. and B.S. degrees have enabled me to appreciate learning
and better understand the subjects I teach.
Teaching Style
I truly enjoy teaching Math and Science, the subjects that many students find challenging, difficult, or even boring. I believe that any child can succeed in these areas if the teacher/tutor
makes the subject understandable. I am confident that I can make
these subjects understandable with much encouragement and patience, and even a "reward" wouldn't hurt.
