Experience Summary
My B.A.in English from the University of Maine at Augusta, where I graduated magna cum laude, and my participation in the ProLiteracy America program as a Literacy Volunteer was inspired by my life-long love of literature. I have taken courses in Interpersonal Communications, Ethics, and Advanced Technical Communications, all of which expand my purview as a tutor. I am an avid bibliophile and am well acquainted with both American and European literature with an emphasis on Shakespeare.
Teaching Style
I have greatly enjoyed my experience as a Substitute Teacher and Literacy Volunteer as I truly enjoy helping others. I am sensitive to the fact that all children learn differently and will augment my teaching stlye to compliment their needs and goals. I will be committed to helping the student meet their potential and goals in a productive and positive learning experience.
