Experience Summary
As an honor graduate, I consider myself to have a inner drive of committment and perserverence. I have earned two Bachelor's degrees. one in Early Childhood Studies and the second in Special Education. I also have a ESL endorsement which gives me a great advantage working with diverse cultures and backgrounds. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and I am currently working towards my doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology.
Teaching Style
I take great pride, and fulfillment working with students of all ages. Working with the special needs population has taught me great patience and understanding realizing that every student can learn regardless of their abilities. I believe in lighting a fire under students which makes them want to learn and grow. My teaching style is fun, upbeat and energetic. I beleive that I have a great gift in helping students reach their potential and I know how to build positive trust relationships which fosters communication.
