Experience Summary
Since 1999 I have tutored in many formats and venues entailing; elementary students, college students and adult learners. From 1999 to 2001 taught sociology courses at Auburn University as Graduate Assistant, and from 2003-2005 K - 8 students reading comprehension and English Arts. Presently I hold an M.S. in General Psychology & B.A. on Liberal Arts (with a concentration in American and Western Civilization History courses).
Teaching Style
I enjoy the diversity and demographics of teaching all age groups. Typically I allow the student to influence the teaching style once a greater understanding of their learning strengths (audio/visual) is determined. Often a variety of methods are required and this is dependant of learning objectives. Above I want the student to benefit from the session/s so feedback is essential. I am a great learner and adaptor to the client's needs.
