Experience Summary
As a lifetime learner, I am highly diverse in the areas of teaching, and counseling. I have earned a bachelor degree in Child and Family Studies, which has enabled me to take many education and social work classes. I have earned a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, which has increased my knowledge of those who have specific execptionalities. In addition, I have acquired extensive skills in the areas of writing and reading due doing reasearch papers, presentations, and reports. During the last nine years I have tutored students in English, mathematics,social studies, and science.
Teaching Style
As a professional with a diverse career, I am highly motivated and empathetic to the needs of all children. I am currently a Special Education teacher, and I know that all students can learn. I personally want your child to be a successful lifetime learner. I am patient, considerate, and compassionate. My goal is to ensure your child's learning within a nuturing environment. To become a lifetime learner, it is a process that is best acquired through discovery. I believe that for mastery of an objective, learning has to be personal experience and provoke the curiousity of students. All students can learn, but it has to be personalized. I will continue to find creative approaches to find the best method of making learning a success.
