I also became a Teacher's Assistant for Sociology my junior year of undergraduate studies. My duties as a teacher's assistant consisted of planning and implementing course lectures, leading and mediating discussion sessions. In addition, I was also a Resident Assistant for three years and was responsible for creating and implementing educational programs for fifty college students.
Currently, as a graduate student for the University of Maryland, University College, I have become astute in creating research papers.
Teaching Style
I believe in the model, "each one reach, each one teaches one." I enjoy teaching children and feel that due to the fact that english was not my first language I'm extremely patient with teaching children. I believe in constant positive reinforcement when it comes to teaching and I also believe in creativity. Finding out what a child's interest are and applying it to what they are learning helps them understand the lessons being taught.
