Experience Summary
As a Cuesta College student focusing in English, I tutored students for 2 semesters during my educational path. I not only had the passion for helping students who had problems in English, but it was really good experience in my major. For 2 semesters after I tutored students I went on to grading for 4 different professors which gave me even more experience in how college professors look at their papers and grade. I have great patience and understanding for any student who has problems in English, and I have the experience to help them. I already have me AA in English and I am attending Cal Poly next fall to pursue my BA and Masters in English.
Teaching Style
First of all, my teaching style revolves around patience and understanding, I believe that if anyone truly focuses and tries they can learn the material with a little guidance. My goal is to help students conquer their problems in the classroom and in their homework. I also believe in constructive criticism and working with a students strong points to help them work on their weak points.
