Experience Summary
At this point in my professional career, I currently do not have any experience teaching in a formal classroom environment. However, my experience does extend into performance education, as I have three years experience working for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in which I increased participation of general visitor and school audiences in gallery programs by performing in educational demonstrations and facilitating hands-on experiences. This included presentations in astronomy, biology and earth sciences.
Teaching Style
I find that students have their own unique style of learning. I also believe that by establishing a solid set of study skills while catering to individual techniques of the student, the learning process can grow and thrive. Therefore, I would combine my training in theatre and performance to make learning an enjoyable process. I have a very kind and patient disposition which helps foster a supportive learning environment. The most rewarding education comes from self-discovery and I firmly believe that the best teaching comes from this principle.
