Experience Summary
At the start of my college career, I began tutoring for Calculus. I received an offer from a Professor at Lafayette who had heard about me. She and her husband had two children who were accellerated two years above their classmates. I tutored both children once or twice a week in both of their respective mathematics courses as well.
Teaching Style
I love working with people, especially children. I have been a Crew Trainer at each job I've had because of my ability to relate, connect and teach others. I am very patient and easy-going. One thing I like to identify is my learner's personality so that way I may cater my teaching style to that of his/her needs. Connecting with the individual and making them feel as thought they can do, and keeping this attitude, is key to helping the student grow. Having a positive academic effect on the students' lives is what I strive to achieve.
