Experience Summary
As a private school teacher I hav taught all the math,science, and history courses at the middle and high school level. I have also tutored college Algebra and Trigonometry. Math is the subject I love teaching the most. I am very proficient in teaching all levels of math,science and history. I also have experience in teaching grade school(3rd-5th). I have an AA from Indian River State College in general education and a BS from the University of Central Florida in Liberal Studies. I completed both degrees on-line while working full time. I therefore, know how to make efficient use of time in order to get a task done in a competent acceptable manner.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I realize many students need exra help to comprehend their course material. I enjoy giving that extra help and working with the student to determine which style of learning best suites them. It is possible for every student to succeed. It is my goal not only to have the student understand the material but to enjoy the process. I explain and show the concepts to the student in a clear easy to understand way. I encourage my students to participate in the learning process. My greatest joy is to see the light in a student's eyes when they "Get it".
