Experience Summary
I am currently in the credentials program at Cal Poly Pomona working on my single subject credential in Social Science. I currently work as a substitute teacher for El Rancho USD, Paramount USD, and Norwalk-La Mirada USD. I have experience substituting all subjects. I have taken several college level courses in Math (through Calculus) and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). I also have experience working with children in youth sports as well as high school athletics.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based upon respect for the student. I have a lot of work with differentiating instruction for different individuals. Working with a student one on one will be a welcome experience so that we can fix the instruction that will benefit that student the most. I also believe in making the material fun and exciting for the students. I try to relate personal experiences of the students as much as possible so that the information will take a much deeper meaning and be much more concrete.
