Experience Summary
As a Miami University graduate, I was always very driven to do my best and achieve a level of excellence in education. I recently earned a bachelors degree in American Studies with a minor in Urban regional planning, which has enabled me to understand and comprehend many aspects of different curriculum. I have also learned writing and grammatical skills through writing research papers and essays for my many classes. In the past 7 years, I have tutored elementary students in English and math and have helped tutor a fellow college student in statistics.
Teaching Style
I absolutely adore working with children and helping them learn. I honestly believe that all children have the capability to learn, that each one simply learns differently and requires different attention. I am available to help your child find academic success by not only helping them learn to read and write, but by giving them the confidence that it takes to excel. My overall goal is to provide the best education possible for children through discovery and a personally constructive approach. I had teachers that made all of the difference in my learning experience and believe that is all it takes to make a difference in a child's life.
