Experience Summary
I am currently enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University, completing a Bachelor's in General Studies with a concentration in Business Administration. I have worked with children for 15 years, and worked for two years as the Education Coordinator in a residential treatment facility school. I also have 5 years of experience in training adults. I am an expert in behavior management, active listening, and counseling that will assist me in tutoring.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is a three-part system. First, I introduce the material, giving a brief description and process. Second, I demonstrate the skill, reiterating the information from step one. Last, I talk the student through the process as he/she performs the skill. This is followed by several repetitions of practice to ensure the skill was successfully acquired.
