Experience Summary
I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida A & M University and hold a valid Letter of Eligibility for teacher certification. My teaching experience includes working as an ESE Aide, high school substitute and tutor in Alachua and Orange County. For the past year I have been working with students with disabilities. I am very enthusiastic about working with students in an education setting. My experiences in the classroom and educational background have provided the skills I may use in helping students reach high levels of achievement. I have a great deal of interest in helping students in school activities, testing, learning skills and assisting to make the school a safe learning environment. Furthermore, I am familiar with the current FCAT and education standards for Florida students. I will be happy to provide any references needed to endorse my skills and attributes as a science teacher and valuable employee.
Teaching Style
I believe each child learns in their own way. It is the job of the instructor to facilitate the child's learning. Patience is key and a comfortable pace.
