Working knowledge of computer programming, data modeling, and effective analytical writing, presentations, and reporting using modern software packages relevant to students interests and abilities.
Teaching Style
I take the approach that guided problem solving provides the optimal learning experience, as most students learn best by doing with explanation provided all along the way. I tailor this approach to the learning style of the student, whether it is auditory, visual, or kinesthetic. I am very friendly and patient. I believe in adding value to the education through application of the learned skills to real world problems of interest to the student. This prevents boredom and allows them to be engaged in the process.
